Alessandro Mosca Balma Mion

Born in 1997 in Andorno Micca, near Biella, Alessandro Mosca Balma walked into a gymnastics gym at the age of 7 and built a strong career in artistic gymnastics, winning the Italian junior national title on the parallel bars in 2012.

In 2014 he put that technical background to work in a new discipline, acro pole, bringing it to the Biella area and teaching it. After twelve years of competition he left gymnastics to focus on his art and his studies, creating striking, technically demanding choreographies for theatres, venues and town squares in Italy and abroad. In 2021 he finished among the top four finalists of the Italian TV talent show Tu Sì Que Vales on Canale 5, in the very weeks he earned his master's degree in Biomedical Engineering from the Politecnico di Torino. Today he combines performing with his work as a biomedical research engineer at the University of Turin.

He brought his acro pole act to the Masters of Magic Convention stage in 2023.
