On our stage at:

2012

Andrew Mayne is an illusionist, thriller writer and inventor whose curiosity has taken him far beyond the stage. As a creative consultant he has worked behind the scenes for David Copperfield, Penn & Teller and David Blaine, and he has developed magic effects performed around the world; he even helped develop an experiment conducted aboard the International Space Station.

On television he starred in A&E's "Don't Trust Andrew Mayne" and in the Discovery Channel Shark Week special "Andrew Mayne: Ghost Diver", swimming alongside great white sharks in an underwater stealth suit of his own design. With support from the Johnny Carson Foundation and the James Randi Educational Foundation, he created a programme that uses magic to teach critical thinking in schools. As a novelist he has been nominated for the Edgar Award and the Thriller Award, and "The Naturalist" spent six weeks at number one on Amazon. He has also served as science communicator for OpenAI.

Audiences at the Masters of Magic Convention applauded him in 2012.
