Danny Orleans

On our stage at:

FISM Italy 2015

Danny Orleans, a former elementary school teacher, combined his boyhood love of magic with his classroom experience. In 1983 actress Jan Rose auditioned for his first family theatre show, and it was the beginning of a partnership both on and off the stage. In the last two decades of the twentieth century the two performed more than five thousand shows for children and families across the United States, Canada and the Virgin Islands.

Danny has written more than ten books for Scholastic's Ultimate Magic Club series, wrote the children's magic column "Pediatrix" for Genii Magazine, where he was also the trick reviewer for nearly twenty years, and won the first Chicago Close-up Magic Competition. With Jan he created the DVD set "The Art of Presenting Magic to Children" and lectured across the United States and the United Kingdom.

Today the couple travels the world performing corporate magic and a two person mindreading act, a contemporary version of the method of their teacher Eddie Fields. Favourite stages include Hollywood's Magic Castle and New York's Monday Night Magic. Danny was our guest at the FISM World Championship of Magic in Rimini 2015, produced by Masters of Magic.
