Gaetano Triggiano

Gaetano Triggiano is an illusionist and an actor at the same time. As a young man he was a gymnast on the Italian junior national team in 1987/88, but the spark had already been lit in August 1985, when, on holiday with his grandparents in Rome, his father took the whole family to see a magician's show. He went on to study with the great masters, and in 1998 in Rome he met Arturo Brachetti, whose advice proved invaluable in his first professional years.

In 1999 he won the Italian Championship of Illusion in San Martino di Castrozza and the Grand Prix at the Internazionali d'Italia, and in 2000 he was a finalist at the World Championships in Lisbon. Television audiences came to know him through shows such as "Domenica In", "Buona Domenica" and "Sognando Las Vegas". For him, illusions are not an end in themselves but ingredients of a story: this idea gave birth to "Tablò", directed by Serge Denoncourt with artistic consultancy from Brachetti, blending magic, dance, drama and humour.

Audiences at the Masters of Magic Convention applauded him in 2008 and 2010.
