Gianni Loria

On our stage at:

Gianni Loria took his first steps in magic in Bologna in 1978, joining the Club Illusionisti Emilia Romagna, of which he became president in 1984. His style took shape early: that of a magical cabaret comedian, funny and full of energy, with an hour-long show built on razor-sharp theatrical timing. He took it all over Italy, reaching 250 shows a year; in the summer of 1989, touring Sardinia with Giorgio Panariello, he played 30 nights in 31 days. He is a personal friend of Panariello and has been his "magic" consultant.

Since 1990 he has sat on the board of the Club Magico Italiano, becoming its vice president in 2003 and helping to organise its annual international magic convention. At the head of the Club Illusionisti he has run dozens of meetings every year and a course for beginners, working to spread Italian magic in all its forms.

He was our guest at the Masters of Magic Convention in 2013, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2022.
