2019

Omar Pasha is a timeless act of astonishing visual magic, recognised worldwide as the reference in Black Art. Objects and people appear, vanish and change places at the magician's will, with no devices moved by assistants, in a magical choreography reminiscent of an oriental engraving, framed in red light and set to Ravel's Bolero. The American magazine Genii called it "one of the greatest stage acts in the history of magic".

The story begins with Ernest Ostrowsky and Michelle Pacaud, Parisian dancers and choreographers who moved from puppets to puppets with magic effects and arrived at Black Art in 1958, when it was almost unknown. With their shows "Les Baladins" and "The Light Fingers" they toured the world, from cruise ships to the 1972 FISM world convention; in 1976 the Omar Pasha company was born, with a more classical style. Acclaimed for decades from the United States to China, from Australia to South America, the act is now performed by their son Louis-Olivier Ostrowsky, heir to this famous tradition.

Omar Pasha was our guest at the Masters of Magic Convention 2019.
