Shin Lim

2014 2017 2021

Shin Lim is a rare talent: he creates magic routines choreographed and perfectly synchronised to music. Born in Canada, raised in Singapore and later based in Boston, he came to magic late, at 16, after being stumped by his older brother with a simple card trick. A classically trained pianist, within a few years he went from youth awards, such as World Teen Close-Up Magic Champion in Las Vegas in 2010, to being crowned FISM World Champion of Card Magic at FISM Italy 2015.

In July 2015 his appearance on Penn & Teller: Fool Us went viral, passing 23 million views, and he went on to win America's Got Talent. Respected by his peers for the poetry of his performances, he is also an inventor of new sleight of hand techniques and an inspiration to young magicians worldwide.

Shin Lim was a guest of the Masters of Magic Convention in 2014, 2017 and 2021.
