Walter Maffei

On our stage at:

2012 2013 2014 2016 United Magicians for the World 2020 2021 FISM World Championship 2025

Italian-French comedian and illusionist Walter Maffei starred for many seasons in the shows at Euro Disney. Gifted with a strong musical sense that shines through every movement, he calls himself a choreographer of illusion: his take on magic produces routines that are at once comedy sketches and poetic theatrical tableaux.

He pairs highly refined manipulation techniques with a sharp, hilarious sense of humour and precise staging that makes sleight of hand spectacular without the need for large props. With his stage act he represented Italy at the 2015 FISM World Championship of Magic, reaching the final, and he has won numerous international awards. Away from the stage, he is just as much at home with strolling and one-to-one magic.

He is one of the most frequent performers in Masters of Magic history: at the convention in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2016 and 2021, in United Magicians for the World in 2020 and at the FISM World Championship of Magic in Turin 2025.
