Born and raised in Hamburg, the daughter of illusionists Frederik & Margit, Alana first stepped on stage on her fifth birthday. After years assisting her father, she performed her own first piece of magic at 13, and went on to develop a spontaneous, elegant style across variety theatres, cruise ships and events, always performing in her audience's own language.

Her first original act, Magic InStyle, conjures diamonds, pearls and high heels out of thin air: it won the Großer Hansepreis der Zauberkunst in 2007 and took her to the Magic Castle in Hollywood and the World Magic Seminar in Las Vegas. Her next creation, In her hands, a swarm of hands that tease her and steal her jewellery until she ends up headless, made her in 2011 the first woman ever to become German Champion of Magic, and also won the Russian Grand Prix at White Magic in Perm, leading to Le Plus Grand Cabaret du Monde. In 2012 she was named Magician of the Year in Germany.

Audiences at the Masters of Magic Convention applauded her at the 2016 edition.
