Faccestamagia

On our stage at:

FISM European Championship 2024 FISM World Championship 2025

Raffaello Corti, known on stage as Faccestamagia, is the ultimate anti-magician: he appears clumsy, detached and comic, drawing the audience in with gags and one liners. Yet beneath the surface hides a real conjuror, and in every performance there comes a moment when the story flips and the magic emerges, astonishing and moving the crowd. His is a "wrong" kind of magic, a theatre whose rules are trampled and kicked away by his yellow shoes.

After years of street performance and Rome's comedy workshops, in 2018 he won the Ariston Comic Selfie and reached the final of the Italian TV show "Tú sí que vales". In 2019 he joined the cast of "Colorado" and won both the Festival del Cabaret Emergente in Modena and the Premio Takimiri, and between 2020 and 2022 he appeared in ten prime time episodes of "I soliti ignoti" on Rai with Amadeus. Hugely followed on Instagram and TikTok, he blends comedy, magic and surrealism into one of the freshest acts in Italy.

He was our guest at the FISM European Championship of Magic in Saint-Vincent in 2024 and at the FISM World Championship of Magic in Turin in 2025.
