Vanni De Luca

Mathematical illusionist, martial arts expert and genuine human calculator, Vanni De Luca has built his art on the power of a prodigious mind. He developed a method for memorising long strings of numbers in moments and can name the day of the week for any date in history. He is the only Italian artist to perform the Multiple Wonders: at the same time he solves a Rubik's cube, carries out complex calculations and recites from memory a canto of Dante's Divine Comedy chosen by the audience, all in time to music.

In 2015 he won the Italian Mentalism Championship and the best performer award at the Ferrara Buskers Festival; in 2016 he was crowned Italian Magic Champion at Masters of Magic in Saint-Vincent and Street Magic World Champion. In 2017 he made his theatre debut with Prodigi, written and directed by Davide Calabrese and Fabio Vagnarelli of Oblivion, and published his book Una mente prodigiosa. He presented an English version of the Multiple Wonders, using Shakespeare's sonnets, at FISM in South Korea.

Vanni De Luca appeared at the Masters of Magic Convention in 2022 and at the FISM World Championship of Magic in Turin 2025.
