Alexander
On our stage at:
2008 2010 2011 2013 FISM Italy 2015
Born in Turin on 27 January 1951, Alexander discovered magic at ten and devoted himself to manipulation, especially with coins. In spring 1973 he won the "Bustelli" Grand Prix at the International Festival of Magic in Saint-Vincent, and a few months later in Paris he took first prize in manipulation at the FISM World Championship, the first Italian ever to win in that category.
On 3 October 1976 he made his debut on Raiuno in the first series of "Domenica in" and became one of Italian television's best-loved faces. In 1981 he created and hosted "Zim Zum Zam", the first great magic show on a national network, averaging 13 million viewers per episode: vanishing elephants, flying cars, women turned into tigers. Dozens of programmes followed, from "Sotto le stelle" to "Carramba che sorpresa!", along with years of popularity in South America on "Sabado sensacional".
A legend of Italian magic, Alexander appeared at the Masters of Magic Convention in 2008, 2010, 2011 and 2013, and at the FISM World Championship of Magic in Rimini in 2015.
