FISM Italy 2015

Lee Eun Gyeol, also known as EG, is the pioneer who for more than twenty years led the globalization and popularization of magic in Korea: an artist who turned magic into art, pushing it beyond the limits of the genre and into new territory.

His show "The Illusion", created in 2010, broke the paradigm of the traditional magic show and redefined it in a modern key; in 2018 it was chosen as the opening gala of FISM Korea and received a standing ovation. Since 2014 he has performed as "Artist EG" at arts and performing arts festivals, presenting works built on the concept of "authorism" in magic. His competition record is remarkable: the Grand Prix at the World Magic Contest in Asia in 2001, second prize and second place in Manipulation at FISM 2003, the Mandrake d'Or in Paris in 2003, first prize in General Magic at FISM 2006, and in 2011 the Merlin Award from the International Magicians Society.

He was our guest at the FISM World Championship of Magic in Rimini 2015.
