Mario Lopez

On our stage at:

2018 United Magicians for the World 2020 2021 FISM World Championship 2025

Mario López is a Spanish sleight-of-hand master and one of the most devilish magicians around: everything he touches looks like real magic. A pioneer of the "New Wave of Spanish Magic", where body, heart and eyes walk alongside brain, hands and smile, he has a nonconformist style, a bizarre look and highly personal techniques that make him an utterly unique character. He studied physical theatre and mime, and his is an organic art, born of a fresh attitude and constant work.

He has won some of the most prestigious awards in the world: the Ron MacMillan "Kevin Ray Trophy" first prize at the International Magic Convention in London in 2013, the FISM European Championship in 2014 and, jointly, the FISM World Championship in Rimini in 2015, both in Close-up/Micro Magic. He has fooled Penn & Teller twice on "Fool Us", served as artistic director of the Troba'm festival and worked as a magic consultant for theatre.

Audiences at the Masters of Magic Convention applauded him in 2018 and 2021, in the online charity show United Magicians for the World in 2020 and at the FISM World Championship of Magic in Turin in 2025.
