Ta Na Manga

On our stage at:

2014

Ta Na Manga is the duo formed in 2004 by Gonçalo Jorge and Pedro Teixeira, two friends with a passion for magic who set out to create an original show blending theatre, music and comedy with illusion. In Lisbon they premiered "Tá na manga ao quadrado" in 2008 and "Magia e etc. (não necessariamente nesta ordem)" in 2010. In their best-known act a narrator tells a love story while the two exchange magic across a distance.

Their act has been awarded eleven times at prestigious international events, including the FISM World Championship of Magic in 2012. Other honours include first prize in General Magic at the French Championship in 2009, first prize at the 27th Brussels Magic Convention, the audience award at the Frakson Memorial in Madrid in 2010, the IBM British Ring Shield in 2011 and, the same year, the Mandrake d'Or. In 2011 they also performed at the Magic Castle in Hollywood.

Audiences at the Masters of Magic Convention applauded them in 2014, when they performed their act in Italian.
