Alessandro Politi

On our stage at:

2010

Alessandro Politi is the face behind the famous "great magician" of Zelig Circus: an illusionist of few words whose silent, self-mocking comedy lands suddenly and explosively. A computer engineering graduate, he joined the Zelig artistic workshop in 2003, appeared on Zelig Off in the 2004/2005 season and the following year on Zelig Circus as Martin Scozzese, a hapless conjuror announced by the strains of Scotland the Brave and armed with a clumsy English accent.

The character became one of the show's best loved newcomers, earning praise from television critic Aldo Grasso. Politi also acted in the film Un amore perfetto (2001), took his magician to Rai Uno in Voglia d'aria fresca in 2010, and in 2015 was a regular guest on Quelli che il calcio on Rai 2.

Masters of Magic Convention audiences laughed along with him at the 2010 edition.
