Andy Nyman is an award winning actor, director and writer, acclaimed by critics and audiences for his work in theatre, film and television. His "hobby" of magic has given him some of his most unexpected adventures: in the magic world he is known as one of the creators of Derren Brown's television and stage shows, a partnership of more than twenty years that produced some of the most groundbreaking mentalism ever. Together they won a Silver Rose at the 2003 Montreux Television Festival, and Andy co-wrote and co-directed eight of Derren's stage shows, earning an Olivier Award and a New York Drama Desk Award.

He has invented hugely popular effects such as "Killer Elite" and "The Code", and his book "Bulletproof" is hailed as a modern classic of mentalism. A Member of the Inner Magic Circle with Gold Star, in 2018 he received the Maskelyne Award for Services to British Magic.

As an actor he has played Tevye in "Fiddler on the Roof" in the West End and Winston Churchill in "Peaky Blinders", and with Jeremy Dyson he wrote and directed the film "Ghost Stories". He was our guest at United Magicians for the World 2020 and at the Masters of Magic Convention 2021.
