Dani DaOrtiz

On our stage at:

2012 FISM Italy 2015 2017 2018 2019 United Magicians for the World 2020 2022 2023 FISM European Championship 2024 FISM World Championship 2025

Dani DaOrtiz combines superb technique with crazy humour, and is one of the great card magicians Spain has given the world, following in the footsteps of Arturo de Ascanio, Pepe Carroll and Juan Tamariz. Born in Estepona, in the province of Malaga, he started at four with a box of tricks from his father. At twelve, at the magic circle in Seville, he discovered the magic of Mario the Magician, who became his mentor; later he worked alongside artists such as Juan Escolano, Mago Migue, Juan Tamariz and Lennart Green.

If there is one thing Dani never avoids, it is risk. His magic, often described as unconventional, thrives on improvisation, allowing him to build dynamic routines that adapt to every audience and every setting. He edits the magazine ElManuscrito, devoted to in-depth studies of figures such as Hofzinser, Robert-Houdin, Fred Kaps and Larry Jennings, has written four books and has produced three DVDs, including "Fat Brothers" I and II.

He is one of the most loyal friends of our stage: Masters of Magic Convention 2012, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2022 and 2023, FISM World Championship in Rimini 2015, United Magicians for the World 2020, FISM European Championship in Saint-Vincent 2024 and FISM World Championship in Turin 2025.
