Den Den

On our stage at:

2019

Den Den is the Master of Manipulation. In 2014 he was named Magician of the Year by the Academy of Magical Arts and received the prestigious Gold Medal Award of Honor from the Society of American Magicians, an honour previously given to only one other magician. His rise among his peers was remarkably fast, making him for years the magician of the moment.

It all began when he was about seven: nobody in his family was involved in magic, but on a trip to a department store he found a magic kit in the toy section. He has no idea why it caught his eye, but he took it home and started showing tricks to all his friends. "When I was little I never thought this would be my profession," he recalls. Today he is known for his refined manipulation and his productions of origami cranes, also seen in The Illusionists.

Masters of Magic Convention audiences admired him at the 2019 edition.
