Fred Razon

Born in France in 1979, Fred Razon is a specialist in the art of pickpocketing, the simulation of the perfect thief. He began practising magic at 8 and was trained by Pierre Edernac, the famous teacher of Gérard Majax and Sylvain Mirouf, and by Théo Dari, creator of the laser magic act that Fred performs regularly.

First known as a pickpocket artist, he went on to invent Phoenix, a futuristic stage act inspired by the world of The Matrix and by dance. Equally at ease with interactive pickpocket magic and visual stage magic, he has appeared on several French television programmes, including Attention à la marche and shows on Canal+, and toured dozens of French nightclubs with his act. A word of advice: do not interview him from too close, or you may find yourself without your belt and tie.
