2018 United Magicians for the World 2020

Ian Rowland, a mentalist and mind reader based near London, has been performing mentalism and card magic for over 25 years. He is regarded as the world's foremost authority on cold reading: his The Full Facts Book of Cold Reading, which defines the different kinds of psychic readings and creates a taxonomy of cold reading techniques, has been called the definitive work on the subject by Derren Brown, James Randi, Martin Gardner, Teller and Banachek.

A member of the Inner Magic Circle in London, he was the first person to lecture on cold reading at the Magic Circle, wrote a mentalism column for the Circle's magazine for 12 years and contributed to MAGIC magazine for 6 years, publishing more than 100 tricks, ideas and routines. He also works as a writer, speaker and trainer, has trained FBI agents and members of the British Olympic team, and on television convinced an audience he was a psychic medium for ABC's Primetime.

He was a guest at the Masters of Magic Convention in 2018 and took part in United Magicians for the World in 2020.
