2013

Kai Leclerc, a Canadian born and raised in Milan, is a chameleonic artist who can walk upside down more than eight metres above the ground. After studying literature and art history at the University of Montreal, he created, self-taught, Ceiling Walker, an illusion show performed entirely hanging from the ceiling, which he has toured to more than 60 countries.

He has worked with some of the world's most important live productions, from Las Vegas to Broadway, appearing on the Late Show with David Letterman and at Caesars Palace, with Circus Roncalli, Circus Knie and the Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus. In 2001 he performed in Upside Down with Masha Dimitri, directed by the clown Dimitri, and in 2003 he toured with Circus Knie. His work has been awarded at international festivals in Monte Carlo, Wuhan, Zhuhai and Moscow, and in 2016 and 2017 he was part of HEART, Guy Laliberté's dinner show in Ibiza.

Masters of Magic Convention audiences watched him defy gravity in 2013.
