Don Silvio, known as Mago Sales, is a Salesian priest with a passion for magic: as he likes to say, a priest by vocation and a magician by passion. His shows have travelled all over Italy and then the world through the Salesian missions, reaching more than twenty five countries in Africa, the Americas and Asia. He has performed on the second floor of a flooded school in the Philippines, before Mother Teresa in her Calcutta hospitals, among young Buddhist monks in Phnom Penh and even before Communist Party leaders in Hanoi. For him, magic truly erases every social and religious difference.

In Turin he ran a school where anyone can learn the art of acting and magical theatre, and he was the teacher of Arturo Brachetti and other gifted performers of puppet and animation theatre. He launched projects such as "Magiciens sans frontières" and "Disarming Children", where a magic wand is exchanged for a toy weapon, and devotes the offerings from his shows to children around the world.

His magic theatre, blending entertainment, magic and quick change, is one of the best known shows for young audiences, with more than a thousand performances worldwide. He was our guest at the Masters of Magic Convention 2016.
