Shezan

2016

Shezan, the Impossible Genius, whose real name is Alex De Bastiani, found his path when he met Claudio Borghi, one of the very few genuine sword swallowers. Fascinated by this ancient art, he began studying the fakir arts in all their forms, becoming one of only two Italian sword swallowers.

He then combined these fakir skills with magic, completing his training after discovering the Circolo di Magia. The result is a street show mixing swallowed blades, fire and sleight of hand, which took him to the top of the Italian scene: in 2012 he became Italian Street Magic Champion, having also earned the title of Italian runner-up.

Masters of Magic Convention audiences held their breath at his feats in the 2016 edition.
