Beyond the convention

Discover the area

The Riviera of the Alps, surrounded by the highest mountains in Europe.

Saint-Vincent has been welcoming travellers for centuries: a mild climate that earned it the name of Riviera of the Alps, thermal waters, a legendary casino and, all around, the Aosta Valley with its castles and four-thousand-metre giants: Mont Blanc, Monte Rosa, the Matterhorn and Gran Paradiso. Whether you are a magician on a break between lectures or the patient partner of one, you will not get bored here.

For partners and families

While they are in a lecture, you are...

Travelling with a magician has one known side effect: hours of lectures you may not want to attend. Saint-Vincent is the perfect place to enjoy them: spa in the morning, a stroll and shopping in the centre, an excursion among the castles in the afternoon, and in the evening you meet again for the gala, which needs no explanation to be loved. And the gala shows are open to everyone: no magic knowledge required, only eyes.

The thermal spas

The thermal spas

Saint-Vincent's fame was born with its thermal waters: today the spa above the town offers pools, saunas and panoramic relaxation overlooking the valley. The perfect antidote to a night spent trading card secrets until four in the morning.

The Casino de la Vallee

The Casino de la Vallee

Open since 1947, it is one of the largest and most famous gambling houses in Europe, with dozens of tables and hundreds of slot machines almost every day of the year. It is part of the town's identity and of the convention's own legend: for decades magic and the Casino have shared the same nights.

Castles and the Roman valley

Castles and the Roman valley

The Aosta Valley is scattered with medieval castles and strongholds, from Fenis to Issogne, many within a short drive from Saint-Vincent. The town itself sits on the ancient Via Francigena and preserves the ruins of a Roman bridge, while Aosta, the Rome of the Alps, keeps its theatre, its arch and its walls.

Mont Blanc and the high mountain

Mont Blanc and the high mountain

In little more than an hour you reach Courmayeur, at the feet of Mont Blanc: from there the panoramic cable cars climb towards Punta Helbronner and the glaciers, one of the most spectacular rides in the Alps. In May the valley offers hiking, villages and mountain cuisine at its best.

Turin, 90 minutes away

Turin, 90 minutes away

The first capital of Italy is a direct train ride away: royal residences, the Egyptian Museum, the Mole Antonelliana, historic cafes and the elegance of a city that has hosted our convention and the FISM World Championship 2025. If you extend your trip, Turin is the natural next chapter.

The Museum of Magic in Cherasco

The Museum of Magic in Cherasco

For the complete pilgrimage: in the Langhe, the Museum of Magic founded by Mago Sales gathers thousands of square metres of wonders, theatres and a magic library of thousands of volumes. A day trip that pairs perfectly with the wine country around Alba, a UNESCO heritage landscape.
