Dion

On our stage at:

2014

Dion van Rijt was born in 1991 in Delft, a royal city of the Netherlands. As a child he endlessly bowed in front of the mirror and performed characters for his family, until his parents gave him a magic box and he fell in love with it at once. While practising tricks, dancing, jumping and spinning, he began taking ballet classes, alternating sleight of hand with pirouettes.

That versatility paid off: Dion became Grand Prix winner at the European Championship of Magic and the youngest participant ever to win third prize at the World Championship of Magic. These victories at such a young age opened the doors of stages all over the world.

Almost all of his creations are designed and built by Dion himself, including a striking rabbit act, and his theatrical, imaginative style keeps him in demand in theatres in many countries. He was our guest at the Masters of Magic Convention 2014.
