Jean Xueref has practiced magic as a passion for over forty years. Most of his effects use no gimmicks: he works with whatever he finds on the dinner table and builds routines around everyday objects. When he does use a gimmick, it is completely invisible and only helps him do magic with what is around him.

He has long experience with cards, but his real passion is for very fast, visual effects, without long stories. For four decades he has worked with invisible thread, developing several routines, and he invented a gimmick for this technique, "The Phantom Hand".

He was our guest at United Magicians for the World, the 2020 online charity show.
